Getting started · Updated July 12, 2026

From a spreadsheet problem to a result you can check.

You do not need to write formulas, scripts, or JSON. Tablyra turns your request into editable steps and runs them on your computer.

1. Add your files

Open one or more .xlsx or .csv files, or drag them into the desktop app. Tablyra does not upload the workbook.

2. Describe what you want

For example: “Remove duplicate customer IDs”, “Make all dates use YYYY-MM-DD”, or “Add customer names from the customer file.” Before creating a plan, you can edit or remove every example value that would be sent.

3. Review one step at a time

Choose each step to change what happens, which file and columns it uses, and its settings. Add, remove, or reorder steps before anything runs.

4. Build a local preview

Compare the original and result, inspect changed cells, and review warnings. The original file has not been changed yet.

5. Save safely

Save a new file, create a full workbook copy, or update the original after Tablyra creates and verifies a backup.

Combining two files

Choose the main file, the file that adds information, and the two columns that identify the same row. Untick columns you do not need, rename result headings, and preview the combined result.

Supported now

CSV, .xlsx, multiple worksheets, 25 safe cleanup and validation actions, two-file matching, editable plans, local previews, workbook copies, and verified source updates.

When Tablyra stops instead of guessing

Macros, charts, pivots, external links, Power Query, and formula-sensitive structural changes are detected. If Tablyra cannot preserve them safely, it explains the issue instead of silently changing the workbook.
