Tablyra Privacy Policy
This policy explains how the Tablyra website, account service, and desktop application handle information. The product remains in beta, and this policy will be updated when data boundaries or service operation materially change.
1. Local spreadsheet files
The desktop app reads, transforms, previews, and saves supported Excel and CSV files on your computer. Full workbooks, full rows, file paths, output files, and backups are not uploaded to the Tablyra service as part of the normal product workflow.
2. Planner context
To turn a natural-language request into constrained actions, Desktop may send the current instruction, source and column schema, type and empty-value statistics, the current validated plan, and a small set of samples you approve. Review samples before sending and avoid unnecessary sensitive information.
3. Account and service metadata
We process information needed to create and protect an account, such as email address, password hash, sessions, signed-in devices, and verification status. The service may store usage deductions, product events, and error codes. Task titles, conversations, and full workbook content remain local.
4. Diagnostics and feedback
Desktop produces local structured logs containing version, platform, run IDs, stage timings, error types, and privacy-safe action results. Logging filters common paths, tokens, credentials, and sensitive patterns. A diagnostic package is uploaded only when you submit feedback and choose to attach diagnostics. Feedback text and internal handling notes are stored by the service.
5. Cookies and analytics
The website uses necessary cookies for sessions and language preference. When analytics is configured, we may collect page visits, device type, and basic interactions to understand product usage. Account, admin, and API routes are not intended for public search indexing.
6. Purposes of processing
- Provide accounts, device sign-in, planning, and update services
- Protect accounts and investigate abuse, errors, and security incidents
- Measure allowances and improve performance and reliability
- Respond to support requests and feedback explicitly submitted by users
7. Retention and deletion
We retain service data only as long as needed to provide the service, protect security, meet reasonable operational needs, or satisfy legal requirements. You can request account-related assistance through the account and support pages. You control deletion of local files, outputs, and local logs.
8. Security and service providers
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect service data. Website hosting, database, email, or AI planning may rely on third-party infrastructure, which should receive only the information needed for its function. No internet service can guarantee absolute security.
9. Contact and policy changes
For privacy or data-boundary questions, submit a request through the support page. Material changes will update the date on this page and, when appropriate, be communicated through the product.
